Swimming Week 1

It has been a busy week at school. We began swimming lessons and have been learning to kick without stopping, turning to breathe, and how to do freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke. Some of the children have been working in the 25m pool which was a big step up. We have also been working hard to learn our basic facts whilst at the pool. I have been so impressed with the children's organisation and manners, they have been showing a lot of respect to the bus driver, swimming instructors and parent help. Here are some shots of what we have been doing, more to come later on in the week.
