Last day fun.

It has been such a privilege to work with Room 7 this year. I am very sad to be finishing the year. We had lots of fun creating cards today, watching Arthur Christmas and celebrating the year at our end of year Mass.

Nativity play

Tuesday we performed our nativity play. The kids were marvellous and did a great job as sheep!!! We have learnt a lot about the nativity story because of the play.

Science

Last week we got to see Room 1 & 2 science experiments they worked on this term. It was really nice to hear all the science they had learnt and they even let us do it.

Virtues Assembly Celebration

Yesterday it was Room 7's turn to host Virtues Assembly. We were able to take a footstep and candle up to pray table. It was so lovely to have parents join us for the Assembly and in class for the activity and games.

Rumpelstiltskin

Yesterday the kiwi reading group treated us to a performance of the story Rumplestiltskin.  They did a fantastic job embodying the characters and the rest of the class really enjoyed it!!

Sensory Garden

Today Room 7 visited the new sensory garden in Rawhiti Domain with Rooms 6 and 5. It is a new garden designed to be friendly for children with disabilities. It is a special place and we are very lucky to have it in our backyard.Sensory Garden - Seven Sharp

Shu's Song

Last Tuesday we went to the Isaac Royal Theatre to watch Shu's Song. It was a play without speaking that mined an box man discovery human objects and making music with them. It was pretty special to go to the theatre and see live acting!! The students particularly moved the burping cupboard.
