Just Keep Swimming!

Yesterday was a lot of fun. We got to jump into the big 25m pool, swim in link chains, fall backwards out of a boat, and pull our classmates in like we were rescuing them. It was a great interactive way to learn about water safety. We are looking forward to swimming in our pyjamas.

Our Current Learning Focuses

Maths - We are learning to identify groupings to ten and twenty.

On Fridays we are learning about shape - 2D and 3D

Reading - We are learning to self monitor our reading (to make sure we understand everything we read) and to retell the story with detail

Writing - we are learning to write a procedure (instructions)

Oral Language - We are learning to show we are listening to the speaker with body language

Phonics - We are learning to link letters to their sounds, identify short and long sounds for vowels.

Handwriting - We are learning to form letters correctly.

RE - We are learning to recognise the Communion of Saints
