P.E.

On Tuesday we are lucky eniugh to have Mitch from Sports Canterbury to teach us P.E. this term we are learning about striking and catching. We will be learning key skills needed to play games like cricket, and softball. Below are photos of us learning to this and catch.

Our Current Learning Focuses

Maths - We are learning to identify groupings to ten and twenty.

On Fridays we are learning about shape - 2D and 3D

Reading - We are learning to self monitor our reading (to make sure we understand everything we read) and to retell the story with detail

Writing - we are learning to write a procedure (instructions)

Oral Language - We are learning to show we are listening to the speaker with body language

Phonics - We are learning to link letters to their sounds, identify short and long sounds for vowels.

Handwriting - We are learning to form letters correctly.

RE - We are learning to recognise the Communion of Saints
